The thing that really tears my heart up about Robin William’s suicide is how huge of a heart he had and how genuine he was. He was so full of light. It’s scary that depression can take someone like that down.
I know he had his demons and addictions and those are incredibly battles to fight. Also simply the pressure of being him and people expecting him to act a certain way, or be cheery. I can’t imagine the war that must have raged within his head, clearly it was too much for him to handle anymore.
I take solace that he can finally be at peace and embed himself into the universe. I wish we could have helped him feel the love that we are pouring out for him now, so let’s pour it elsewhere, let’s pour it into the loved ones who need it.
We’re all fighting these battles. The struggle is universal.
Thank you Robin for all of the laughs and inspiration.
And also the lesson on the human condition.
You will be missed very dearly by millions.
Rest in Peace
